In the past four years, Uzbekistan has signed 25 power station construction and power repurchase agreements with companies from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, France and Turkey.
This includes 9 thermal power plants, 9 photovoltaic power plants and 7 wind power plants, with a total investment of 10.148 billion US dollars and a total installed capacity of 11,954 megawatts (accounting for about 60% of the total capacity of Uzbekistan's current power system).
Seven of them have already been put into production, and the remaining 18 will be completed by the end of 2026.
