According to the American Solar Energy Industry Association report, the amount of solar equipment in the United States has exceeded the 100GW mark, and the amount of equipment added in the first quarter of 2021 is also unprecedentedly high. However, the cost of solar raw materials and solar modules are both rising, and there are still many challenges in the future.
This report on the US solar market pointed out that the total amount of solar energy systems in the first quarter of 2021 will reach 5GW, 46% higher than the same period in 2020 affected by the epidemic. Solar energy accounts for 58% of the added energy equipment (the other is wind energy). Installed more than 1.52GW solar systems, California and Florida installed 563MW and 525MW respectively.
