As of August 1, 2020, Poland’s installed solar capacity has increased from 882.6 MW a year ago to 2261 MW. In July alone, the country’s newly installed solar capacity reached 150 MW.
The increase in solar installed capacity in Poland is mainly due to the increase in miniature installed capacity such as rooftop solar systems. The latest report of the Polish Energy Administration (ERO) shows that as of June 30, the total installed capacity of large-scale solar power plants in Poland was only 708 MW.
