In 2020, the global deployment of renewable energy will accelerate, and the newly added renewable energy installed capacity will be nearly 280 GW. It is expected that this growth rate will continue in the next two years and the increase in renewable energy is expected to account for 90% of the total increase in global electricity.
The report pointed out that in 2019 and 2020, China's annual installed capacity of renewable energy will account for more than 80% of the global total. This is mainly because China's large number of onshore wind power and solar energy power system projects will be connected to the grid before the end of 2020.
